Welcome to the Special Educational Needs page of our website. This page aims to help parents understand how the school meets the needs of pupils in its care who may be experiencing difficulty with learning. As part of a coordinated response with other agencies the government requires the Local Authority to publish their ‘Local Offer’. In conjunction with this the school is also required to publish our own ‘Local Offer,’ known as the School Information Report, and to revise our Special Educational Needs Policy to align with national changes.

The Cambridgeshire local offer includes information on services across education, health and social care, from birth to 25; how to access specialist support; how decisions are made including eligibility criteria for accessing services where appropriate; and how to complain or appeal. The school’s Information Report will contain details of what the school can offer by way of support within our available resources, including arrangements for identifying, assessing and making provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND)
