Dear Parents/carers

Mayday Celebrations

Thank you to everyone who came to our Mayday Celebration on Wednesday afternoon.  The weather was glorious and we were very proud of the children for dancing so well, even in the face of adversity!  Thank you, too, to the parents who provided refreshments at the end of the event.  The money raised by the PTA is invaluable to the school, and we are very grateful to the parents that give up their time to fundraise.

New Website and Communications Hub

Our new website has gone live this week, and I hope you find it clear and easy to use.  By half term we hope to have sent home login information so that you can download an app which should make it easier for you to find school communications.

Walking Bus

For reasons of safety, please don’t leave your children at the walking bus stop in the morning until there are two adults present and ready to lead the walking bus.  Please remember that the adults supervising the walking bus are volunteers and giving up their time to help other parents.  Please also remember that drop-off time for the walking bus is 8:35 (not 8:30).

Y5/6 Visit to Europa Centre in London

On Friday June 14th, Mme Kelly has arranged for the pupils in Class 4 to visit The Europa Centre in the London Borough of Havering in order to practise their spoken French.  Please see the attached letter for more details.

Lunch Menu

On Wednesday 8th May – we have a special’s menu planned by Class 1. Please see the attached flyer.

Leavers Events

Today, the Year 6 children will be bringing home an invitation for their parents to join us for a leavers’ celebration assembly at 9:30am on the morning of the last day of term, July 24th.  There will also be a special day out for Y6 to celebrate the end of their time with us on Monday 22nd July.  There will be more information about this later.
