Newsletter 6.12.19
6th December 2019
Dear Parents/carers
Key dates
For dates of future events, please regularly check the school calendar on our e-schools app and on our website: http://www.burroughgreen.cambs.sch.uk
Parking
We are aware that some parents are parking inconsiderately and dangerously outside the school when dropping-off and collecting their children. This is putting your children at risk of harm. It is not safe to park on the zig-zags outside of school. We have been in contact with the police and our local PCSO to pass on details of dangerous parking, and our PCSO will be carrying out random checks to monitor the situation. Please drive and park safely in the village – the pub car park is available in the mornings and is much safer than the zig-zags or the grass verges. Thank you.
“Elfridges” Christmas Sale – 6th December
Thank you to all of the parents who helped the children buy and wrap presents at “Elfridges” this morning, £194 was raised for school. Thank you, too for the donations of wrapping paper. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves – it was so nice to see the children helping each other to choose and wrap their presents; I hope you enjoy opening them on Christmas Day!
