18hours and 20 minutes a week, term time only
7.20am – 8.45am and 3.15pm – 5.30pm

Salary 2, P3 - £12.64 per hour, £10,039.18 per annum
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, kind and caring practitioner to help provide for our children in our wrap-around sessions (Breakfast Club and After-School Club). This would suit someone looking for a career in childcare or schools, as well as established practitioners.
You should be passionate about providing a high standard of care for our children and be able to show initiative. Excellent communication skills are key in this role as you will be liaising with both parents and staff.

We are a small village school, 20 minutes from Cambridge, 9 minutes from Newmarket and 16 minutes from Haverhill. Key Responsibilities
•Supervise, and play with, pupils in Breakfast/After-School Club – organising games and activities.
•Prepare simple food and beverages
•Keep records as required
•Advise teaching staff of issues that may arise during these sessions
•Attend relevant staff training, as and when necessary
•Administer basic first aid if required
Requirements
•Childcare experience or a desire for this area of employment to be a career choice
•Level 3 Early Years qualification preferable, but not essential
•Paediatric first aid preferable, but not essential
•Be creative and enthusiastic
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to be part of a team and able to use your own initiative
•Calm, patient and positive
•Good sense of humour
Training will be available.
