Netball Tournament Success!

Yesterday evening, 27th February, we were proud to send two teams to the second round of the South Cambridgeshire Schools Sports Partnership’s High Five’s Netball competition following our success in the first round earlier this term.  The children showed some fantastic netball skills along with brilliant teamwork.  They supported each other, and they didn’t give up, even when thing were not going their way.  One team is now through to the B teams’ final at the end of March, and the other team, having won every match, is through to the cup finals after Easter.  We are incredibly proud of them all.

World Book Day – Thursday 5th March – Competition time!

Time to create your very own potato-y book character!  Re-imagine your favourite character in potato form and bring it into school on World Book Day - Thursday 5th March. Will it be Harry Pot-tato, The Pied Maris-Piper of Hamlin or The Avocado Baby-New-Potato?

Swimming Pool Volunteers

We need volunteers to help us and the PTA to run swimming sessions in the summer term.  If you think you might be able to help, please come to our resuscitation training on Tuesday 10th March at 2pm.  (It is compulsory for us to have two resuscitation-trained adults at every swimming session.)  You will also need a school DBS certificate, which is free and the school will do this with you.  If you are able to attend the resuscitation training, please let the office know.

STEM DAY

On Friday March 20th, we have organised a STEM day for the children, where they will have the opportunity to do some practical hands-on STEM activities with a visiting team of scientists.  Therefore, there will be no Celebration Assembly on this day.
