Music Zone

Music at Burrough Green C of E Primary School

Every child at our school engages in music education from their entry into Reception until the end of KS2 in Year 6.  In the Early Years, music is incorporated consistently into daily routines and is used to enhance teaching of the core curriculum, in addition to being taught as a stand-alone subject. All pupils particpate in weekly music assemblies as well as a curriculum music lesson with their teacher, taught through the Sing Up scheme of work.
We also thread music learning throughout many different projects in our Cornerstones Curriculum shown on Our School Curriculum page.

Our Listening Playlist

Every week, we listen to a different piece of music from a range of genres and eras. Please click on the link below to have a listen to our playlist for autumn term 2021.
