3rd April 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

We have reached the end of the second week of the national “Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.” campaign.  It feels like a very strange end to the Spring Term with no Open Afternoon or Easter Service in the church.

I know that the current situation is causing anxiety, and support services are under pressure at the moment.  If you do need support or guidance or signposting to support services, please let us know and we will do our best to help.  During the Easter holiday, we will continue to provide free school meals to those who are eligible, and will continue to be open to provide childcare for the children of those critical workers who would be unable to go to work without it.  I will update the Coronavirus page of our website with new information as it becomes available.

There will be no new weekly home learning plans for the next two weeks, but please feel free to continue to use the resources and online links if you would like to.  New home learning suggestions will be available from 20th April.  It is important that you all manage to have a rest in the next two weeks, and I hope you can enjoy the predicted good weather.  It is uplifting to see the signs of spring in our gardens and in the countryside around.

If you have questions or concerns, you can contact the school via throughout the closure – it will be regularly monitored.  If you have any safeguarding concerns about any of the children in our community please contact me via   Keep safe.
