Malala Class Visit to the Sedgewick Museum
We had a great time at the Sedgewick Museum this morning with Malala Class. We enjoyed hunting through the exhibits for feet and teeth; handled some fossil dinosaur teeth; and compared the size of our feet with different dinosaurs. We also found out that a Tyrannosaurus Rex’s brain was a lot smaller than we expected! To see some photographs of our visit, please go to our website http://www.burroughgreen.cambs.sch.uk/website/malala_class_sedgwick_museum_visit/605366
From the governors…
The governors would like to share the following points from their last meeting:
• Governors were delighted with the feedback provided by a Local Authority Advisor after their review of the School Improvement Plan and are very pleased with the progress the school is making towards its objectives.
• Governors are grateful for the all the support offered by parents towards the running of the swimming pool so that the children can enjoy using it again this summer, after the half term break.
• It has been pleasing to see the various trips and visits still going ahead despite the ongoing challenges faced at the moment.
• Please join us in welcoming Stephen Roberts to the Governing Body as a Foundation Governor. Stephen’s bio will be available on the school website soon.
My School Fund
Thank you to those who have already signed up for My School Fund; we have already earned £21.51! This innovative scheme allows for us to be able to boost our school’s budget with your help.

Swimming Pool - we have a final total from the money raised in the sponsored circuit event! You have raised a massive £1,774 with your most generous donations (probably a little more once the additional gift aid is completed!) This is a tremendous contribution towards the school pool project and we cannot thank you enough! We cannot wait for the work to start and look forward to seeing the children back in the pool!
