Welcome to The Hive!

The Hive is a vibrant mixed Year 5 and 6 classroom led by Miss Chubb. We are a creative, caring and enthusiastic group of learners who love exploring new ideas and challenging ourselves every day.

Art is one of our great passions, and you will often find us painting, drawing, crafting and creating beautiful pieces of work to display around our classroom. We also love music, and singing can regularly be heard coming from The Hive! Music lessons are among our favourites and provide wonderful opportunities to express ourselves and work together.

Our classroom is a calm and nurturing environment filled with plants that we carefully look after throughout the year. We are proud of our green space and enjoy helping our plants thrive.

Reading is at the heart of what we do. We love listening to stories and spending time in our cosy library area, where we can relax with a good book and discover new worlds through reading.

The Hive is designed to support different learning styles, with a variety of alternative seating and learning spaces available. Whether working collaboratively with friends, finding a quiet spot to concentrate, or choosing a comfortable place to read, everyone can find a space that helps them do their best learning.
